Wonton Dessert Stacks

A super simple dessert to go with a super simple supper!

The idea of this dessert could totally be built and made into whatever flavor combination you like!  (Hint: I'm thinking next time adding a chocolate element... mmmm... mouth watering!)

Wonton Dessert Stacks - inspired from this recipe

Ingredients:
6 - 8 wonton wrappers
lemon yogurt
strawberries & kiwis, sliced
nonstick cooking spray
sugar for dusting

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line a sheet pan with foil and lightly grease with nonstick cooking spray.  Lay out wonton wrappers and lightly spray nonstick cooking spray again.  Sprinkle with sugar.  Bake for 6 - 8 minutes until golden brown. Mine took 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, slice your strawberries and kiwis.  This is 3 strawberries and 1 kiwi sliced.  It could have used one more kiwi but Little One was having a complete and utter meltdown, so one it was!

Lay out a baked wonton, top with a dollop (1 tsp) of lemon yogurt and kiwi.  I bought a single serving container of low fat lemon yogurt and it made enough for  4 wonton stackers.

Top with another baked wonton, lemon yogurt, and strawberries.
Enjoy!

The Verdict
I love it when a plan comes together ... A hit for dinner tonight and dessert!  That doesn't happen often :)  This recipe is a keeper too.  It combined the perfect bite: crispy, smooth, soft, sweet, and tangy.  Super yum! And the best part is that you can use this idea and build upon it.  Top the wontons with whatever ingredients you want to customize this recipe and make it your own.  Simple amazing.  I LOVE recipes like this! Now go enjoy this little stack of delightfulness!!!
