Banana Split Breakfast

Get ready guys - a few breakfast ideas coming your way. These are not technically recipes but fun ideas I want to archive. I hope that you enjoy them too.

Today's topic:  banana split breakfast.

So this is super simple, super versatile, and super popular in our house.

Here is what you do:
1. Take a banana and split it half length wise (I also cut mine in half because the kiddos don't need a whole banana).
2.  Top with vanilla greek yogurt.
3.  Add on any and all toppings you'd like.

Pictured below:  strawberries and melted peanut butter.

Other ideas include:
  • melted jam or jelly
  • honey and cinnamon
  • chocolate chips
  • blueberries
  • raspberries/blackberries
  • chopped nuts
  • granola

Seriously the kids love these things and I love giving it to them. The peanut butter and vanilla Greek yogurt add a punch of protein in the morning.  They really like to make their own too. So you could have the optional toppings in a bowl and let them choose. This would make a great afternoon snack too.

Enjoy!!!
