Frozen Fruit Smoothie

I've made a few smoothies before and never with such consistent success. They're usually too runny, or too thick, or two tart, or two sweet.  This one is just right :)  Once you have all the ingredients it is quick and easy to throw together and comes out perfect every time (I've made it on two different occasions now).
Frozen Fruit Smoothie - from this recipe

2 cups frozen berries or fruit (I used some mixed frozen berries)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup yogurt (I used plain greek yogurt to punch up the protein)
1 banana + a handful of ice OR 1 frozen banana (I've used the banana + ice)
1 Tbsp. honey

Directions
Add all ingredients to the blender (I break my banana into 3 - 4 chunks) and blend until smooth.

(This cracks me up.  I told you it was easy ;))

The Verdict
This is one of the best ones I've tried.  This makes 2 good sized smoothies (about two 8-10 oz portions).  It's a good blend of sweet and tart and the handful of ice and Greek yogurt keeps it thick and creamy.  There are lots of variations you could try just based on what kind of fruit you try.  How about a tropical treat with some pineapple and coconut milk?  Mmm.  So many options.  This morning I swirled in some protein powder for DH after I poured out my cup.  It's so nice because with one blend, I can have two breakfasts.  Annnnndd I can also keep most of these ingredients on hand very easily.  P.S. I got a big container of yogurt, but a small, individual container would be enough to use if you plan just on making one batch.  Hope you enjoy this change in breakfast tradition!
